MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review client guidelines and provide a summary to the Client Relationship Manager for approval;
  • Set up and maintain client electronic billing accounts in third party vendor sites, submit rates for approval, maintain all rates up to date on sites and enter budgets;
  • Ensure review, analysis and upload of client fee structures to vendor sites;
  • Manage user accounts: add/delete users, reset passwords and assign appropriate security levels;
  • Manage the submission of electronic invoices and use eBilling Hub to track their progress through to final acceptance by the client;
  • Research solutions to rejections and appeals, and work closely with attorneys and legal assistants to communicate a timely solution;
  • Collaborate with the credit and collections team to proactively follow up on aged electronic invoices;
  • Participate in the improvement of business processes related to electronic invoicing.

Sporadic responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external customers to implement ebilling systems;
  • Participate in the preparation of various accounting analysis reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingualism (the role requires to be 100% fluent in English)
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite;
  • Demonstrated experience in electronic billing;
  • Experience with eBilling Hub (asset); Proficiency in SQL and XML (asset training will be provided by the firm if you are not familiar with these programming languages);
  • D.E.P. or D.E.C. in accounting or administrative techniques (or equivalent experience, an asset);
  • Strong interest in reporting and electronic data.
