We are looking for a talented QA analyst to play a key role in the delivery of world class tolling and revenue software systems to clients in North America and overseas.


Most of the Things You'll Work On:

  • Work with software developers, project managers and clients to validate and ensure all software releases are of high quality
  • Develop, document, maintain and carry out detailed test procedures plans, scripts, scenarios/cases to aid in the effective delivery of complex software solution for our clients including:
  • Functional, system integration and regression testing (automated and manual)
  • Performance and load testing
  • Production checkouts
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team
  • Take a lead role in the development and execution of highlevel system acceptance testing, often in close collaboration with clients
  • Participate in aid in continuous improvements of existing standards and best practices
  • Consistently explore new technologies and tooling that can be applied to our domain
  • Provide regular status updates of testing to the project manager and to the team
  • Report and keep track of defects, changes, and features

Qualifications:


You'll need to have:


  • Ideally a University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong experience with manual testing (this role is majority manual testing)
  • Solid foundational understanding of SDLC and defect lifecycles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills
  • High levels of initiative and resourcefulness/creative thinking
  • A love and a passion for technology, problem solving
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Experience in creating test plans, sign off documents, and test summary reports
  • Experience in software test automation, API Testing an asset
  • Experience in a consulting environment an asset
  • Experience with JIRA and other Atlassian tools
  • Experience with Agile software development theory and practices
  • Ability to understand basic database queries
  • Ideally this person should be able to travel to the Toronto office when needed.
