The Position:


In support of the Vision, Mission and Values of LCC, we are seeking a Home Help Team Member to join our team.

The Home Help Team Member is responsible for assisting seniors in maintaining a healthy and independent lifestyle while they live in their own home.

Depending on the client, duties may include (but are not limited to) housekeeping, shopping, nutrition, as well as full personal care.


Applicants must be available for weekend, day and evening shifts as required.

The Applicants:


As a key member of the Home Help team, applicants would typically qualify for this position through the completion of grade 12 and previous experience working with seniors.


A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use are essential. Successful applicants will be required to complete a two-day Personal Care Home Worker course, Basic First Aid (no CPR), TLR and Food Safe Course within the first three months of employment.

Applicants must possess good interpersonal skills, be physically able to handle all aspects of the job and be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
