    This role is key in processes related to the Storage and Transportation and in franchise large volume market, for Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS) Revenue. This Senior Analyst is accountable for the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of the Company's sales results.

    What you will do:

    • Independently contributes to the month-end close process for the GDS Revenue team and ensures compliance with key controls.
    • Prepares the various account reconciliations assigned to the group related to S&T and Contract Market.
    • Responsible for independent preparation of timely, accurate and informative analysis of monthly and year-to-date reporting to Energy Services, Customer Care, and Finance, on financial information relating to Budgets, Forecasts, and Actuals relative to the progress of collaborators achieving financial targets.
    • Provides valuable analysis and management reporting driving business decisions, on a periodic and ad-hoc basis.
    • Assists in the preparation of Enbridge Gas Inc's multi-year volume & revenue budget/forecast for the Storage and Transportation and Contract Markets.
    • Identify areas of improvement in processes and related systems to increase efficiency.
    • Builds collaborative relationships with subject matter experts, internal clients, as well as internal/external auditors.

    Who you are:

    • University Degree with a focus in Business or Accounting.
    • Two to Four years of similar experience in a similar role or relevant business process experience.
    • Strong demonstrated ability in oral and written communications, persuasion and influencing skills.
    • Outstanding digital literacy including knowledge and experience with the following programs: SAP, BPC, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, CARE, and Contrax.
    • Knowledge of Cost of Gas, Regulatory Accounting, Financial Forecast/Reporting, Regulatory Affairs, Gas Supply, Capacity Management, Gas Management considered an asset.
    • Preference given to those working towards an Accounting Designation.

    Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

    Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
