In this role, you will work with contractors in the field on an Expansion project. The role will be responsible for implementing civil/geotechnical inspection and test plans and executing the inspections.

You will be responsible for monitoring construction activities, identifying NCRs, developing corrective action plans, maintaining asbuilt drawings, and documenting findings to ensure the construction meetings specifications as per engineering design.

You will work closely with the client project manager to ensure quality standards are met, by collecting and reporting inspection data through turnover packages to the client lead.

Requirements:

5+ years experience in a Quality role.
Experience with major geotechnical projects
Experience in dealing with earth, concrete and civil structures.
Previous heavy industrial experience is preferred.
Knowledge of earthfilled dams and embankment construction is considered an asset
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
