About the Opportunity
As the Manager of Revenue and Receivables you will:
Key support and leadership for the Accounts Receivables team
Address complex resident account issues
Manage complex resident collection processes
Ensure consistent pricing and billing practices across the organisation
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all receivable accounts
Manage reporting on aged accounts, collections, consistency with revenue policies and other performance metrics as defined
Participate in annual pricing analysis for rents and ancillary services
Provide governance for the roll out of new revenue streams and related processes.
Oversee processing of resident refunds
Oversight for revenue, billing, and collection related process improvements, ensuring the company is structured to support its diversified growth plans as they arise.
Monitor and ensure designates at all sites adhere to month end billing processes and timelines including invoice issue and payment processing dates.
Maintain privacy of resident records. Report any privacy concerns to the company Privacy officer.Responsible for managing the tax receipting process
Monthly revenue and collections performance reporting internally and externally, including aged AR, AFDA, margins, etc.
Perform regular 1:1 meeting with direct reports
Review and validate AR period close at month-end
Completion of annual medical tax receipts
Annual rate increases ensuring all rates are processed on time and accurately
Supports/leads on-going training of Accounts Receivables Team and Business Managers in billing / revenue processes
Support site staff by assisting with AR functions for new openings
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
University degree in finance, accounting, or business
Experience managing a team
Public accounting experience or 3+ years experience in an account receivable's role
Experience with Yardi software
Experience in the health care or health-related industry
Experience with collections
