Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Support lead product managers in driving new, improving existing, or retiring products within the Equinix portfolio of offerings
  • Develop project plans, executes product lifecycle tasks, capture product requirements, and collaborate with business and technology teams
  • Assist in the development of product strategy and the creation and ongoing support of the product vision and roadmap
  • Support the research of competitors, market trends, and industry verticals; prepare reports related to financial position, competitive position, and market potential
  • Collaborate on financial business models and conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with more senior team members
  • Compile and analyzes product performance reports and provide insight and recommendations to product management leads
  • Participate in regular touch points with key internal stakeholders and customers to solicit feedback for new product ideas and improvements to existing product functionality
  • Provide training to other internal departments and participates in crossfunctional team meetings to understand and solve product fulfillment and support challenges
  • Support the prioritization of the product backlog and regularly works with lead product managers and operations/engineering teams to improve delivery efficiency and roadmap goals.
  • Support crossfunctional test cases and helps coordinate/execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manage stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions

  • Build and maintain healthy relationships at all levels of the organization evangelizing the team, aligning on common goals, and creating a shared vision

Required Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree a plus
  • 3 years' professional experience in product management, data center infrastructure, power area, or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership in academic and nonacademic settings
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Culturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographies
  • Customerobsessed and relentless in leveraging insights to inform the right priorities and decisions
  • Strong program and project management skills with an ability to execute complex initiatives
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture, balancing shortterm and longterm business priorities
  • Willingness to travel on occasion, across regions (less than 10%)
