Job Description:


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working as part of a small team, and actively participating in the collaborative process and procedure development.


Responsibilities:


  • Visit customer locations to handle deployment, troubleshooting, or service migration, representing XBASE to its customers.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues, as necessary.
  • Educate customers on the use of all related XBASE products and services.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT support experience required.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to provide a driver's abstract annually.
  • Ability to work a flexible and rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, occasional overnights, and oncall shifts.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently, with strong decisionmaking skills in potentially highstress situations.
Preferred

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting and network management tools.
  • Technical degree or certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP; Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, Fortinet NSE, or other networking certifications.
  • Experience with Ubuntu and/or CentOS Linux.

Schedule:

  • 8hour shifts

Supplemental Pay Types:

  • Bonus pay

Qualifications Considered Assets:

  • Help desk experience (2 years preferred)
  • Restaurant experience (2 years preferred)
  • Proficiency in Grade 5 French (preferred)
  • Microsoft Certification (preferred)
  • Cisco Certification (preferred)
