This role will lead the development and refinement of the strategic digital agenda, and be focused on developing/refining new and existing strategic and transformational initiatives at the Bank.

It will also lead the Transformation function and manage key relationships to ensure alignment across the enterprise to ensure appropriate planning, execution, visibility, tracking, and governance to enhance implementation success rates.


MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE

Key accountabilities of this position include:
Strategic Planning & Transformation

  • Drive alignment with Bank leadership on strategic direction; review and revise existing transformation plans and ensure that all initiatives are aligned to respective business strategy as well as enterprise strategy
  • Earn the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate tradeoff / prioritization decisions with various executive level stakeholders providing rigorous strategic insights to enable informed decision making
  • Work with both BizOps and RevOps teams to develop new strategic initiatives and business cases to address any of the gaps in place
  • Coach and support team members on developing business cases that are feasible, measurable and aligned with strategy and expectations. Ensure clear estimation of funding requirements and alignment on expectations for CapEx/OpEx spend
Program Execution & Governance

  • Responsible for running the Transformation meetings and preparation for Executive Committee meetings. Drive cultural change with respect to project execution and management to enable project success and sustainability of change
  • Manage enterpriselevel issues, risks, and opportunities, assisting transformation and program teams in removing roadblocks and escalating to management issues that require executive intervention
  • Trusted advisor for program stakeholders and executive leadership on strategy and program management issues, providing transparent program updates and other project related information on a regular basis
  • Ensure timely and adequate communication at all levels to enable organizational focus and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all initiatives are actionable with a clear roadmap for execution
  • Drive endtoend program/project management and execution, ensuring effective project delivery both ontime and within budget
  • Manage crossfunctional project teams with/without direct line of supervision, as well as internal and external resources for the activities of each project
  • Build and lead a high performing team by creating a culture that encourages driving results, transparency, inclusivity and innovation
  • Create an environment conducive to taking appropriate business risks and ensure that the required organizational capabilities and talent are in place to support the execution
  • Hold team members / initiative owners accountable for their deliverables in accordance to requirements and verifying completion of each deliverable
Benefit Tracking

  • Work closely with Finance to establish and maintain a benefits framework to inform executives on both spend and benefit forecasts and actuals managing to our Book of Work
  • Working with Finance and Business partners track returnoninvestment for all initiatives to drive overall roadmap and prioritization decisions
  • Communicate success stories and showcase transformation progress; leading training efforts and knowledgesharing sessions
Process Improvements

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the current product offering, business operations and associated corporate functions
  • Develop a detailed understanding of currentstate processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, digitization and drive relevant initiatives
  • Lead process reviews and implementation of best practices. Conduct process assessments across all capabilities and value streams to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Capture and support implementation of best practices for any processes impact business operations and results
  • Drive identification and implementation of tools, technologies that support process automation and drive productivity improvements / efficiency gains
