The Quality Assurance (QA) lead is responsible for organizing and managing the testing of products/services prior to its release into Production.

Your duties will include defining testing standards and strategies, establishing formal QA processes, and overseeing all aspects of QA, such as using best practices and establishing metrics.

Additionally, you are responsible for supervising and mentoring QA team members, and developing and implementing scripts, test cases, and procedures.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning and execution of testing
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all quality aspects of releases
  • Establish, document, and enhance QA processes; train team members on those processes
  • Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance
  • Defines quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product
  • Communicate and track any quality risks, gaps or issues
  • Communicate the status of testing initiatives to the stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings
  • Verify and review software and business requirements
  • Continually improve the testing infrastructure, tools, and processes
  • Have responsibilities in the process of traceability of requirements through to functional tests and defect lists
  • Plan, develop, and execute test strategy across products and platforms
  • Develop, maintain, and operationalize test plans
  • Implement and evolve QA processes to continually build effective test cycles
  • Work with PM and BA's to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
  • Assists in the continued delivery of products/services to our Supply Chain business partners

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of handson Quality Assurance experience building and enhancing a QA function
  • Knowledge of Oracle/MS SQL Database concepts and testing using SQL or other DB platforms
  • 3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience
  • Oversee the development of the System and Integration Test plans
  • 5 years of experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA)
  • Experience developing test deliverables like test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrix
  • Ensure that defects are correctly captured, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged to assign resources
  • 5 plus years of experience in testing, automation, performance and load and security testing
  • Experience with product development life cycle and test cycles (e.g. unit, integration, smoke)
  • Experience with SCALE to establish EndtoEnd test scenarios
  • Bachelor of computer science, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
