Our services include emergency food transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Responsible for hospitality services including: cleaning and sanitization of common areas, offices, and program spaces as well as facility laundry
  • Provide support, where required, to meal planning, preparation and serving
  • Weekly inventory of supplies, procurement of goods through approved vendors and donations
  • Delivery of meals as required.
  • Maintain a safe and cleanly working environment in accordance with safe food handling and health and safety provisions

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • Minimum completed high school diploma
  • Valid G license and ability to drive Good Shepherd vehicles
  • Residential or commercial cooking experienced required.
  • Menu planning experience preferred
  • Experience with inventory management is an asset
  • Food Handlers certification required, or a willingness to be certified
  • CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
  • Committed to antiracist/antioppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd
  • Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset
