The Jim Pattison Auto Group has a new opportunity for an Apprentice Glass Technician to join our team

Reporting to the Body Shop Manager and assigned Technician, you will be passionate about providing exceptional vehicle repairs and have a results-oriented outlook on all repair work.

As an Apprentice Glass Technician for our premium brands, high volume location you must be self-motivated, high energy, a team player and results-oriented with a proven track record of vehicle service excellence.

Responsibilities:

The Apprentice Glass Technician is responsible for assisting with automotive glass installations and repairs, in addition to providing superior customer service and sales conversions.

You will also actively support the management of the service centre and take responsibility for its administrative tasks.

Education and Experience:

1year Customer Service experience.
Automotive service, repair, parts or glass experience considered a strong asset.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with ICBC web express considered an asset.

Technical Skills:

Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
Ability to multitask.
Strong selling skills.
Skilled inperson sales and customer service techniques considered a strong asset.
Detailoriented and accurate in all work and communication.
Must have a class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in operating both manual and standard transmissions.
