Wonderworld Montessori Academy's Metrotown is a brand new school located at the heart of Metrotown. It has 8 classrooms total capacity of hosting 161 children and 30 full-time employees at full capacity.


We are currently seeking an enthusiastic FULL TIME ECE Educator our Primary classrooms at our Metrotown Burnaby location for full time.

Job description

ECE Classroom ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have ECE:

Experience in Montessori classroom preferred:


  • Current Criminal Record Check

Good lesson plan skills:

Good activity arrange skills:

A warm, friendly, and calm disposition:


  • Caring and attentive to children:

Able to actively support and coordinate with the Guide:


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on supportive teamwork:

Display flexibility, accountability and integrity:


  • Highly organized, detail orientated, an observant:

Display accountability and with a good work ethic

Additional Skills:

Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties:


  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records:

Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children:


  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants

ASSISTANT SALARY :
Dependent on Experience + $4 ECE Wage Enhancement


Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
