Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour + $2.00 premium for overnights

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides day to day support to residents as needed (ex: ensuring clients are comfortable and communicating on a regular basis with clients and other members' of the resident's recovery team).
Provides administrative support as needed to the front desk, admissions or discharge.
Ensures the safety for the residents. Uses effective behavior management skills to deescalate crisis situations and minimize harm to residents and other staff.
Maintains communications/contact with all clinical staff regarding resident issues, through exchanges of information, as appropriate via verbal, written and electronic communication.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals in recovery from substance abuse or mental health issues
Knowledge of community resources available to individuals in recovery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques preferred
