What will I be doing?

As a General Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space, and heartofthehouse areas.
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair nonfunctioning machinery and/or equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance orders such as paint and drywall repairs, routine electrical and plumbing maintenance, adjustment to the climatic control system, installing television sets, replacing/repairing locks, etc.
Conducting pool testing and checks.
Keep required maintenance records.
Keep workshop in order and tool kit inventory in place.
Report par stock needs to the maintenance manager and maintain tools and equipment.
Notify management where major repairs are needed.
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.

What are we looking for:

The General Maintenance Technician must have strong mechanical abilities and be skilled in the use of basic hand and electric tools.
Experience with HVAC and/or chiller equipment is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to work weekday and weekend shifts.
