Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor for our growing service business in Kitimat and Western Canada. The successful candidate will be based out of our new Kitimat Service Centre, and will report to the Manager, Valve Service in Kitimat. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to receive further training and advancement opportunities. Spartan Controls offers a competitive and unique compensation package as well as is actively involved in the communities we serve.

The successful candidate must be based out of or willing to relocate to Kitimat, British Columbia , as the standard shift for this role is Monday thru Friday.

Role and Responsibilities

Interface with customers directly on their service needs

Generate Service orders for customer assets

Provide coordination and scheduling support to the Service Center Team

Invoicing responsibilities: coding of all related vendor invoices and maintenance of customer invoices

Provide administrative support

Procuring parts and consumable materials

General support for a variety of office duties

Creation of PDF files as required

Direct customer calls and provide customer service assistance

Provide safety administrative support to the Safety Coordinator

Assist with Event Administration Support

Maintain and Manage Promotional items inventory

Qualifications and Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office - emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Previous scheduling, inventory, and/or coordinator experience considered an asset

Prior valve experience considered an asset

Prior SAP experience considered an asset

Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Extensive and exceptional customer service practices

Entrepreneurial work ethic

Strong organization and verbal/written communication abilities
