    Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
    An exciting role is available for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Software Engineer eager to lead the future of legal innovation. Join the Thomson Reuters Document Intelligence team in developing software solutions that incorporate cutting-edge language-based machine learning technologies. This team focuses on delivering top-notch AI capabilities to customers across Thomson Reuters' product portfolio.

    The ideal candidate will collaborate with a diverse team of software developers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists in an autonomous and cooperative development environment leveraging state-of-the-art cloud technology. Working within an agile team that follows a scrum-based approach, this position offers the opportunity for both local and remote collaboration.

    About The Role:
    In this role as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

    • Contribute to the development of multi-tenant cloud-based software and microservices with a focus on quality, scalability, and reliability
    • Translate product requirements into engineering tasks independently, providing technical leadership in proposing architectural and implementation ideas
    • Utilize data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment in priorities within the team
    • Write code following best practices, and contribute innovative ideas for improving team efficiency
    • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members
    • Mentor junior developers through pair programming and active listening
    • Advocate for practices such as refactoring, TDD, and pair programming to enhance team collaboration
    • Follow SDLC best practices and Agile/Scrum principles within the team

    About You

    • To be a great fit for this Senior Full Stack Software Engineer position, you should have:
      • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
      • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud software development, encompassing both Front-End and Back-End roles
      • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, especially C# and .NET Core
      • Experience with technologies like JavaScript, Angular 2+, NgRx, and Git
      • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
      • Experience with various SQL and No-SQL databases
      • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset

    Bonus Qualifications

    • Experience working with Elasticsearch
    • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Rust, or Java
    • Knowledge of Event Sourced architectural patterns

    Job Type: Fixed-term contract
    Contract Length: 12 months

    Compensation: $83.00-$93.00 per hour

    Expected Work Hours: 37.5 per week
