Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the supply chain team to expedite the procurement and delivery of materials required for production.
Monitor production schedules and coordinate with production managers to ensure materials are available in a timely manner to meet production deadlines.
Track and update purchase orders, shipment schedules, and inventory levels to ensure accurate and uptodate information is available for supply chain planning.
Communicate and follow up with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues related to materials availability, quality, or delivery timelines.
Utilize machine shop experience to understand production processes and identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement in the supply chain.
Participate in crossfunctional meetings to provide input on supply chain strategies, production planning, and inventory management.
Proactively identify and address any potential delays or issues in the supply chain that may impact production schedules.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to supply chain and production management.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities, including purchase orders, delivery receipts, and inventory reports.
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the supply chain and machine shop environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, production planning, or related roles, with a focus on production management and machine shop experience.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and production planning.
Knowledge of machine shop operations, including machining processes, materials, and quality requirements.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams, suppliers, and vendors.
Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make datadriven decisions.
Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

This is a temporary position with an estimated duration of 3 months and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our supply chain operations and support our production goals.
