Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Deficiency Technician with a background in drywall and paint to join our growing Homeowner Care team This role contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring quality standards are met on all service and warranty requests.
You help manage homeowners' expectations and perform routine maintenance and repairs for a growing portfolio of residential homes, including townhomes and wooden framed condos located throughout Greater Vancouver.
Challenges
- Growing company with lots of changes; policies and procedures will evolve based on business needs
- Communicate with Homeowners who may or may not understand their rights and obligations
Key Accountabilities and Supporting Tasks
- Preoccupancy Deficiency_
- Conduct predelivery inspection punch lists and reinspections
- Homeowner Orientation_
- Attend walkthroughs with new homeowners
- Conduct homeowner orientations and key handovers
- Warranty Repairs and Maintenance_
- Conduct deficiency assessments during the warranty period
- Assist in the coordination of trades when necessary to ensure timely and efficient repair of deficiencies
- Perform routine maintenance, including but not limited to drywall, paint and door repairs
- Homeowner Care_
- Establish proper warranty expectations with homeowners by educating them during key touchpoints of the purchase experience
- Create a positive customer experience from closing through the Warranty period
Qualifications
Must-have:
- Experience with drywall
- Experience with paint
- Access to own vehicle
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience with residential deficiency repari
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
