We are looking for a
Materials Shop Lead to join our team in Halifax, Canada. You will report to the Site Operations Manager and will work a flexible schedule onsite.

As a Materials Shop Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining material flow through receiving, rotary, electronics production areas, and shipping, while adhering to quality and customer schedule requirements.

Additionally, you will be responsible for Rotary and Electronics product line inventory, provide inventory improvements, and support the team daily.

As a Materials Shop Lead, you will:

Perform daily inventory management.
Schedule and perform cycle counting activities on a prescribed schedule.
Manage Rotary and Electronics inventory while ensuring optimal levels for customer satisfaction and profit generation are met.
Review and recommend safety stock levels and adjustments.
Support outside process and part modification processes.
Maintain and improve material flow throughout the various production areas.
Identify and resolve materials shortages and issues.
Evaluate slow moving inventory and take appropriate actions to resolve.
Adhere to ISO quality system and company policies/procedures.
Commit to continuous improvement.
Monitor and conduct personnel reviews and assess quality/quantity of daily work.
