Our Brampton location is presently looking for
Manager, Product Marketing (Contract)


As Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of Taro's growing Generic, OTC and Specialty Portfolios.

You will use your strong marketing and analytical background to develop marketing plans that allow our sales team to achieve sales and performance targets.

You will develop and maintain a robust product database to ensure comprehensive and up to date information pertaining to our Canadian product offering.

You will work with Commercial Operations to ensure external market conditions are communicated to our internal Business Partners in a timely manner.

Using your strong project management skills you will monitor key launch milestones and activities to ensure commercial readiness.


Duties and responsibilities
Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the current product lifecycle process from launch to discontinuation, including budgeting, sales forecasting, product profitability analysis and reporting
  • Communicate product marketing strategies that encompass provincial, regional and account strategies, SKU optimization and product sales targets
  • Assist in the development of all productrelated selling tools
  • Review and approve all new and existing artwork components in the artwork management system
New Product Launch Execution

  • Coordinate market ready launch activities with Business Development, Commercial Analytics, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales
  • Responsible for creating new launch projects in the corporate database, maintaining the launch project tracker including updating milestones
  • Review and provide feedback on key launch features trade dress, pack sizes and SKU, artwork design, brand name etc.
  • Monitor external market conditions and adjust launch activity timing accordingly
  • Collect and disseminate launch information for wholesaler setup
  • Ensure finished good samples are available prior to launch in order to generate marketing materials and prelaunch sales tools
  • Coordinate monthly launch forecast review meetings with Commercial Operations and communicate any changes to internal stakeholders. Transition product launch forecast to regular demand with Supply Chain pre launch.
  • Deliver training for all new product launches to internal commercial team
Product Database Management

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive product database to be used by marketing, sales, business intelligence and customer service
  • Ensure accurate information is updated on a regular basis including product specifications, market size, sku offerings, formulary status and competitive information
Sales Support

  • Manage communication of provincial price changes to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Update National Price List and SAP for all price changes
  • Responsible for maintaining the Direct Order Form (product launches, product discontinuations, price changes) and communicating the respective changes to the Retail Sales Team
  • Support Corporate Sales Team on RFPs by providing product trade dress and SKU information
  • Communicate all product related updates to the Sales Force new product launch, product discontinuation, product trade dress change, back order reports etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a University degree, preferably in a Commerce or related stream.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a Marketing, or Commercial Operations
  • Software: SAP, Advanced Microsoft Excel + Office Suite.
  • Experience working in the generic pharmaceutical industry or a similar commoditydriven healthcare industry.
