If this is you, you might have what it takes to become the first maintenance manager of the brand new Dot Foods Ontario distribution center.

If you can bring a little know-how and an urge to learn more to the table, you may be just who we're looking for.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and implement safety, quality, repair, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Provide repair service and general maintenance for building and grounds
  • Maintain electric material handing handling equipment
  • Provide budget requirements in accordance with volume and staffing
  • Operate and maintain the CO2 refrigerant system and develop safety procedures
  • Lead and support our Calgary location for all maintenance needs
  • Maintain working partnerships with vendors and contractors to the facility
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to minimize waste

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Supervise members of the material handling maintenance, refrigeration, and building maintenance personnel in our Ingersoll & Calgary distribution centers
  • Applicants must be willing to travel 68 times per year to company meetings, trainings, and planning events. Must have ability to travel to the United States and travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

Qualifications:

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree
  • Building maintenance management experience
  • Extensive knowledge in industrial HVAC
  • Physical ability to access all areas of the facilities
  • Knowledge of safety codes and standards
  • Ability to independently make decisions and resolve complex problems
  • Canadian residency

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Excellent working knowledge of 120V, 600V 3phase
  • Computer skills in Excel, Word, AS400, and CMMS maintenance program
  • Three years of material handling maintenance experience
