Description

Reporting to the VP, you will bring years of experience in overseeing the whole operations of Bradley Steel.

You will be responsible for the keeping the Bradley Steel Division running as efficiently as possible and keeping internal and external customers satisfied, based on company objectives, using resources given.

Duties include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
Bradley Steel employs 85 workers. Applicants must come from an industrial manufacturing setting at a senior level.

Overall Responsibility:

***- Oversee and provide direction to Production Supervisors

Motivate the team, demonstrate and enforce high working standards
Seek opportunities for increased efficiencies that are cost effective
Working to reduce inventory
Hiring / firing of staff
Ensure that both external and internal customers receive their orders on time at the best cost and quality
Review orders as they are received from outside sources to determine cost and delivery
Cost, setup and process all new parts from Farm King, Versatile and outside sources
Expedite orders as per customer requests or as they become due
Ensure that work flows smoothly on the plant floor
Process weekly production reports
Plan all intercity deliveries between divisions
Daily scheduling and tracking of all flat decks and vans between divisions

Job Requirements:

You Bring:

Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in overseeing a manufacturing facility
Leadership, selfconfidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility and sound business judgment is required
Experience in assessing and implementing improvements
Previous experience in creating and monitoring KPI's
Previous budgeting experience
Highly developed interpersonal skills
An analytical mind; Ability to assess information and data is very important to make best decisions for the company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask while under pressure
Must be comfortable working in Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems like AS400 or MAPICS is required
