QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Must have Dietary Food Service Workers Certificate, be enrolled in program or show proof of future enrollment in program, with willingness to complete in 3 years.
Food Handlers Certificate required and knowledge of safe food handling.
Institutional food service experience.
Familiarity with therapeutic diets.
Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift an average of 15 lbs.
Knowledge of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decisionmaking skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays.
Consistent and regular attendance required
Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
