Description

Site Specific Responsibilities - maintain code of conduct in a shelter setting. Regular walking patrols and desk duties.


Coverage:
Saturday, Sunday


Shift: 19:00hrs to 07:00hrs


Location:
Newmarket, ON


Start:
Immediate

Specific duties performed and essential functions (but not limited to):
Accountable to the Operations Manager or Site Supervisor, if one is designated.

  • Performance of all regular and special patrol functions in accordance with Site and/or Post Orders
  • Assist shelter staff as required
  • Ensuring, prior to commencement to shift:
  • Uniform is neat and clean and conforms to regulations as prescribed by the Flex Point employee standards document
  • Operable phone (for reporting), and security license are carried
  • Being familiar with, and reviewing periodically, all Site and/or Post Orders, Company Regulations, Standing Orders, and Special Directives for site/Event
  • Completing for each shift worked all reports, Incident Logs, and other documentations as required
  • Undertaking, as a condition of Employment, all internal and external security training courses, as required by the Operations Manager
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager or Site Supervisor any action, condition, or special problem which could endanger security staff or violate conditions of work

Responsibilities:


  • At all times, maintain a valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • At all times, maintain the confidentiality of all information relative to FPS operations, and staff
  • At all times, maintain the confidentiality of highlysensitive guest and client information
  • Represent and promote the values and vision of FPS both internally and externally, while following all FPS policies and procedures

  • For all shifts keep a factual, detailed and accurate report of all activities, observations and incidents
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by management

Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour
