Summary of Position
The Accounting Manager will work closely with all finance executives in the company.

Reporting into the CFO, the Accounting Manager will assist the CFO with a range of accounting, tax, and special projects.

This position does not require significant overtime and the company's accounting and tax records are in excellent shape. This is a
newly created position to accommodate company growth.

Responsibilities

Fullcycle accounting responsibilities, with a focus on reviewing financial reports and directing accounting staff.
Assisting with income tax working paper preparation, simple tax return preparation using TaxPrep, and reviewing tax returns prepared by others on the finance team.
Assisting with yearend audit and internal control design.
Other special projects assigned including accounting and tax research.

Requirements:

3+ years minimum handson experience performing accounting responsibilities and income tax return + working paper preparation is a must.
Experience with Yardi and TaxPrep preferred.
Designated CPA preferred, but not a must.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Working from the office at least 4 days a week. Commitment to meeting hard deadlines.
