Description
The purpose of this position is to assist with and coordinate activities pertaining to Quality, Safety and Risk Management.

This position will also assist in providing education to staff in ensuring that quality, safety and risk are integrated within the daily activities across the organization.

Responsibilities:


  • Supports initiatives intended to evaluate the company's compliance with client contractual agreements, including reporting on Key Performing Indicators (KPIs), assisting in site visit preparations, and coordinating and reporting on client satisfaction surveys
  • Manages customer complaints and incident investigations (CAPA)
  • Supports the coordination, management and sustainability to the Quality Management System and Certification Program (ISO 9001)
  • Supports our selfinspection program
  • Supports the organization's goal of continuous quality improvement
  • Preparation of SOPs and/or SOPs revisions (including policies, procedures and work instructions) as per the business needs and training respective staff
  • Supports the coordination, management and sustainability of Health Canada's Regulatory Licensing (DEL/MDEL/Controlled Substances)
  • Supports all GMP compliance activities as per the Health Canada requirements
  • Completes various quality reporting tasks including trend analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:


  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Initiative and selfmotivation
  • High degree of analytical and observational skills

Qualifications:


  • B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biology or related sciences from a University or formal certificate of equivalency.
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • 13 years working experience in a Health Canada Regulated Environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and ISO requirements is an asset.
