Overview:
The main purpose of the job is to support and assist the responsible manager to maintain a safe environment. The key role would be to repair and maintenance of equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair Equipment, such as motors, receptacles, switches, light fixtures and other miscellaneous electrical on property
  • Help maintain RTU units and large

MUA:
Engineered Air, Carrier etc

  • Must be comfortable working with single and 3 PH power units up to 600V
  • Repair, maintain and install new electrical outdoors and indoors, up to current electrical code
  • Train other Engineering Associates on basic Electrical and Troubleshooting.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Will have other duties (General Maintenance) when there are no Electrical issues
  • Oversee the testing, inspection, maintenance, and operation of the facilities' emergency generators and other backup systems.
  • To look out for the safety of yourself, coworkers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 10 years' experience
  • Must have a valid Journeyman Electrician Ticket for Alberta
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to read wiring diagram
  • TAC BMS or Enteliweb knowledge is an asset
  • Must be a team player and help when needed
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to work with little supervision.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Exposure to chemicals.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.


This position is a day position but will be on call and may have to work some evenings or graveyard shifts as emergencies arise.
