Gore Mutual Insurance is in the midst of an exciting transformation and we're once again growing our Claims team. We are looking for an experienced claims professional.

A leader who understands the value of providing genuine, customer centric service with a track record of coaching for success and growing high performing teams.


What you'll do:


  • Lead our Claims Concierge team as they navigate options that contribute to solutions for our callers
  • Oversee and support our inbound and outbound call management solutions for Claims
  • Build and nurture an engaged and inclusive workplace culture
  • Provide direction, guidance, training, and technical advice to aid in the development of your team
  • Identify, address and help solution barriers to effective teamwork
  • Support quality audit functions for calls and file handling
  • Prioritize department objectives and motivate the team towards meeting their goals and our exceeding customer service standards
  • Find and create opportunities for innovation and collaboration

What you'll need:


  • A minimum of 3 years' experience leading a team towards success
  • Minimum of 45 years with claims handling experience required
  • Expertise in auto physical damage claims handling is required
  • University or College degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Software considered an asset
  • CIP/FCIP/CRM is an asset
  • Prior knowledge or expertise in telephony systems (i.e Amazon Connect) is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong analytical, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Hybrid:

This is a hybrid role that includes the flexibility to work remotely, but also regular in-person meetings in our Cambridge facility is expected (twice a week).
