Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced construction estimator with expertise in concrete floors, driveways, sidewalks, curbs, other concrete structures, and formwork construction.

As an estimator, your primary task will be to estimate concrete projects accurately that includes assessing material costs and quantities required for these specialized projects.

You will collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project completion.

Duties:

Evaluate project plans, drawings, and specifications for concrete floors, driveways, sidewalks, curbs, bridge decks, other concrete structures, and formwork projects.
Calculate materials like concrete, rebar, formwork systems, and necessary accessories for these specialized projects.
Estimate labor costs, equipment expenses, and other projectrelated costs specific to the project.
Gather quotations from specialized suppliers and subcontractors for required materials and services.
Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals tailored to the distinct needs of projects.
Attend prebid meetings and conduct site visits to acquire projectspecific details for precise estimates.
Maintain and update a cost database with specialized pricing information for future reference.
Work closely with project teams to ensure estimations meet with the requirements of projects.
Keep updated on industry trends, material prices, and construction techniques associated with concrete projects to improve estimating accuracy.

Pay:
$44,460.15-$110,649.81 per year

Schedule:
