Reporting to the Health Services Manager and working under the supervision or direction of regulated health professionals, the Care Team Assistant (CTA) provides direct, hands-on care based on the needs of the patient and program/or unit.
As a member of the collaborative care team, the CTA is responsible for supporting patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
The CTA also reinforces patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Continuing Care Assistant Program
- Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Demonstrates effective listening skills.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Short Assignment, Parttime (55%) position; 41.25 hours biweekly
- Beginning as soon as possible with a duration of approximately June 1, 202
- Shifts may include 8hr and 12h shifts
- Shifts may include days, evenings and nights, as operationally required
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $25.70 hourly
