About CCRM:


Position Summary:


As a Sterility Assurance Co-op at CCRM, you will be part of a diverse bioengineering team focused on designing and implementing a quality management program for cell and gene therapy and regenerative medicine projects.

You will work with the Sterility Assurance (SA) team to define and execute project tasks, as well as day-to-day operational duties.

As a SA team member, you will support the SA and contamination control program in the facility.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide updates and information that can help to maintain a level of expertise in the SA team regarding equipment and operations to support manufacturing for CCRM and its clients.
  • Perform environmental monitoring in the facility to support current and future operations.
  • Maintain documentation for the environmental monitoring program and study data trending for the facility, at regular intervals. Support corrective action if any deviation is observed.
  • Help raise issues, change controls or propose revisions to standard operating procedures (SOPs), as required.
  • Create equipment logbooks/records and a preventative maintenance schedule for applicable equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and monitor process areas, and ensure all are prepared for use.
  • Perform aseptic gowning qualification and maintain personnel qualifications.
  • Support other process-related tasks that may arise.
  • Demonstrate CCRM's values of purpose, integrity, excellence, accountability and collaboration, and motivate others to do the same.

Requirements:


  • 23 years in a bachelor's program or diploma program in a life sciencesrelated discipline, microbiology focus preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and English written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to follow SOPs.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
  • Some physical lifting and carrying required.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision; selfdriven; can perform well independently or in a teamoriented environment.

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an assertive, responsible and accountable attitude.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
