The

Bookkeeper role is unique position. This role will start out more with data entry and understanding the business then moving into bookkeeping and other accounting responsibilities.

What You Will Do

  • Complete bank deposits
  • Enter invoices for accounts receivable
  • Ensure approved payables are completed within scheduled time frames
  • Manage and maintain vendor profiles
  • Update applicable files related to accounting proactively
  • Process and input incoming payments
  • Cash flow management
  • Improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business
  • Production of some financial reports and budgets
  • Protect operation by keeping confidentiality
  • Work with Project Managers on job costing
  • Other relevant duties that may not be outlined in this job description

What You Have

  • Postsecondary education in accounting or finance is an asset
  • 2+ years experience in direct bookkeeping
  • Experience in the construction, restoration, or insurance industry is considered an asset
  • Strong numerical proficiency
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong problem solving and investigation skills
  • Excellent use of logic
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and vehicle for bank deposits
Reports to the CFO and CEO and will work as a team to advance the interests of the company.
