Specific Accountabilities:


  • Supports the Hearing Office on all Academic Integrity disciplinary processes, including communicating with all parties throughout the hearings process.
  • Supports the administrative functions of the academic integrity hearings process including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, entering information in the database, compiling reports, and maintaining records
  • Carries out other duties as assigned
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Compile end of term data and create report/presentation for senior management
  • Extensive knowledge of department operations, policies and procedures, systems

About the Position:


This is a temporary Part Time Support Staff position, replacing a Bargaining Unit employee - starting March 2023 and ending approximately January 2024.

This role will work 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of $24.96, and report to the Manager, Academic Integrity & Student Conduct.

The incumbent will provide support for academic integrity hearings and processes within the College.


Qualifications:


  • Twoyear diploma in Office Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fastpaced office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows & Teams
  • Experience with Colleague, myLambton and D2L an asset
