Jeppesen Canada is seeking a customer-facing
Mid-Career Delivery Project Manager reporting to the Senior Manager of Implementation at our
Montreal location.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Project Management and

Program Management:

Applies project/program management and customer guiding experience while learning and adapting to Jeppesen's best practices framework to deliver project goals.


  • Schedule Management: Create and maintain project and program schedules by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, deliverables, customer requirements, task dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Cross Functional Leadership: Provides leadership, direction and integrates activities with other departments, Boeing and Jeppesen vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation and support. Facilitation, roll out and continuous improvement of PM best practices and mentoring of junior Project Managers
  • Issue /

Risk Management:
Anticipates and identifies Risks and Issues that may impact implementation and develops and implements mitigation and corrective actions.

  • Scope: Ensures projects remains focused on key objectives and goals. Develop and manage expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas in Boeing and Jeppesen are engaged on the project.
  • Communication Management: Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to internal and external stakeholders in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
  • Change Management: Ensure proper change management procedures are followed to ensure scope is managed and additional work is captured and appropriately billed to customer.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ Years project management experience.
  • 3+ Years of customer / client facing experience.
  • Ability to travel 2040% of the time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
  • Must be eligible to handle US exportcontrolled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):


  • Experience managing complex technical software implementation projects to external customers.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Aviation industry expertise, ideally in the area of crew management solutions.
  • Multilingualism is an asset (French, Spanish).

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

  • Leadership interfonctionnel : faire preuve de leadership, donner les orientations et assurer l'arrimage avec les autres départements, les fournisseurs Boeing et Jeppesen ainsi que les partenaires pour garantir une implémentation réussie. Agir à titre de facilitateur lors de l'implémentation, en s'assurant d'utiliser l'amélioration continue et faire rayonner les meilleures pratiques en gestion de projet tout en encadrant les gestionnaires de projet juniors.
  • Gestion des problèmes/risques : anticiper et identifier les risques et les problèmes susceptibles d'avoir un impact sur la mise en œuvre. Développer et mettre en œuvre des mesures d'atténuation et correctives.
