    Franchise Recruitment Specialist

    Reporting to: Director of Franchise Recruitment, North America

    Location: Toronto, ON or Vancouver, BC

    Salary range: $63,000 to 68,000 annually

    Recognized as one of Canada's Best Workplaces for Hybrid Work by Great Places to Work Canada, COBS Bread is evolving and thriving After nearly 20 years of delighting our customers with the freshest baked bread and treats at over 180 franchise locations across Canada, we're laying the groundwork for expansion into new markets As part of a dynamic sales team focused on driving new store growth, the Franchise Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for recruiting new franchisees into the network and assisting existing franchisees to scale up to multiple locations.

    What You will be Responsible for

    • Managing the franchisee selection process, including interviewing franchise applicants and assessing their suitability;
    • Guiding prospective franchisees through the full sales cycle, providing all information necessary, and assisting prospective franchisees to make a well-informed purchase decision;
    • Managing a detailed and extensive due diligence process with honesty and integrity;
    • Coordinating and reviewing legal and financial documentation;
    • Working closely in cross functional teams to support the bakery opening process

    Requirements

    What You Bring to the Table

    • A desire to play a key role in shaping the growth of a young, dynamic company;
    • 2+ years of proven success working in a relationship-based sales environment;
    • A post-secondary degree, preferably in a business or communications related discipline;
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and nurture strong, trusting relationships;
    • Exemplify a high degree of care, compassion, and integrity, along with the ability to appreciate others' perspectives;
    • Thrives in high-pressure environments with excellent critical thinking skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills while balancing multiple evolving priorities;
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
    • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
    • Self-motivated, ability to work well autonomously and within a multi-disciplined team;
    • Demonstrate a keen desire and ability to continually learn and develop new skills;
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment prioritizing time-sensitive tasks
    • Hunger and passion to achieve the growth targets with proven results in achieving KPI
    • Experience working with franchisees or within franchise environment is an asset
