HR Generalist
On behalf of our amazing client, VineHR is seeking a versatile HR professional for a newly created HR Generalist position. This is a full-time, permanent position based at their head office in Burnaby.

The Opportunity
This is a newly created opportunity to support our client's growth ensuring a continued positive employee experience. Our client is an established organization having been in business for over 30 years and considered one of their leaders in their industry. They have grown steadily over the years and have now reached the exciting stage where they need full-time, in-house HR support.
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice-President of Finance and working closely with the Payroll & Benefits Specialist as well as the leadership team, this role truly offers a variety in an engaging and fast-moving environment.
As this is a newly created role, the responsibilities may shift over time but overall, this position is responsible forcontributing to a positive employee experience across all aspects of Human Resources including onboarding, orientation, training, performance, employee relations and compensation.
This role also ensures that current policies and procedures as it relates to Human Resources are up to date and followed including their employee handbook. There will be an opportunity to review and make recommendations to their current policies to ensure best practices.
Candidate Profile
· Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources or relevant field couple with at least 5 years of varied Human Resources/People and Culture experience in an autonomous and collaborative environment.
· Ability to work well in ever-changing and dynamic environment in a multi-facetted capacity with some transactional duties
· Exceptional communications skills, customer-service oriented and strong organizational ability.
· Demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality and providing sound judgement at all times.
· Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and fostering an inclusive workplace environment.
· Proactive and positive mindset with a resourceful approach
Location This position is an on-site position at their head office in Burnaby with the option of working one day from home after probation.
Compensation
Competitive compensation package including base salary in the range of $70,000 – 80,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonus, RRSP contribution, extended health and dental, vacation and other perks.
