Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for a nighttime Line Cook to join our team at the Beer Garden (the BG) for the summer.

We are looking for passionate hard working individuals to join our back of house teams.

Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.


Responsibilities

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Cooks food items by various cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus
  • Have a thorough knowledge specials or promotions
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and food safety policies
  • Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment

About you

  • 1+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
  • A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset
  • Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
  • Advanced english language skills

Work Environment

  • Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
  • Must be able to work outside for a prolonged period of time
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada

Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
