EIPS is recruiting a full-time English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher at Rudolph Hennig Junior High.


Rudolph Hennig Junior High serves approximately 440 students in grades 7 to 9, with 23 teaching staff and 9 support staff.

The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB. Rudolph Hennig Junior High staff are committed to fostering success in all students.

Commencing August 29, 2023

Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position

Teaching ELA, with option possibilities that may include Recreational Fitness, Outdoor Education, Cosmetology or STEM 7


Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education degree

Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Effective organization and classroom management skills

Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged

Excellent verbal and written skills

Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice

Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
