KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide excellent customer service through the delivery, pickup, care, and service of furniture and other home furnishings
Move heavy home furnishings on a daily basis with extreme care
Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and a positive attitude while working in our customers' homes
Accountable for commitment to our company's safety procedures and guidelines
Adhere to traffic and transportation laws
Maintain, clean, and supply the delivery trucks
Organize and manage time independently
Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management

YOU WILL BRING:

Previous moving experience
Valid work permit for nonresidents
Valid driver's license is mandatory, minimum 3 years' driving experience and a clean driver's abstract with no driving complaints
Thorough understanding of geographic locations and ability to read a map
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture
Knowledge and experience with furniture assembly an asset, but not mandatory
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Physical Demands:

Lifting is a strenuous and physically demanding position
. **Deliver assistants must be capable of bending and lifting heavy furniture and appliances.
