Station Chef The Station Chef's key responsibilities include preparing delicious food that meets the Hotels standards, for the restaurant, banquets, and pool patio (if applicable).

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare food for the restaurant and banquets, all in accordance with the established standards (quality, quantity, and presentation);
Work alongside other Culinary professionals, displaying teamwork in the accomplishment of daily tasks;
Taste and monitor food that is being served, ensuring taste, temperature and presentation meet our standards;
Responsible for cleaning work station and ensuring a neat and organized space, which helps ensure the efficient operation of the Kitchen;
Contribute to the development of the daily specials;
Assist with ordering supplies and completing inventory when needed;
Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun;
Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

What We are Looking for...

Previous experience as a Cook in a busy environment is required.
Must have valid Food Handlers Certification.
Excellent communication and positive attitude.
Passionate about the culinary and dining experience.
Strong organization skills and a proficient multitasker.
Smart Serve Certification is an asset, but not a requirement.
Must be available to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
