Job Description:

*This is a 1-Year Fixed Term Contract Position*Purpose of Position


Accountable for providing human resources administrative services in the areas of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) administration, benefits and pension administration, and the employee life cycle process in support of overall Human Resources Department strategies, programs, policies and initiatives and commitment to customer service.


Key Responsibilities- Provides administration of FSRA's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure timely collection, security, and control of consistent data collection, analytics and reporting in support of HR and FSRA workforce planning, benefits and pensions administration; position control, collective bargaining and/or corporate budgeting purposes for payroll.- Provides advice and guidance to the HR Team in data collection and reporting of FSRA human resources activities including assistance on workforce demographic profiles, staff strength, vacancies and data required for succession planning, talent management, retirement projections etc.

and the full life cycle of recruitment,- Provides training and assistance to HR team and HRIS authorized users regarding the use and capabilities of the HRIS.- Provides support on benefits and pension administration including responding to inquiries regarding benefits coverage, benefits premiums, pension buy-back and enrolling employees in benefits plans.- Maintains various databases, tracking and administrative systems in support of various HR processes including entering absences on Workday.- Conducts systems audits of the HRIS to ensure data integrity, maintain security and accuracy of employee related data.- Resolves all related day to day issues and escalates issues to specialists to ensure timely resolution of problems.- Participates in job evaluation sessions to determine the value/worth of a job in relation to other jobs across FSRA.

Monitors and maintains a tracking system for job descriptions, evaluation results and position creation/posting.- Manages the HR Inbox, providing timely responses to internal inquiries and ensuring effective communication within the HR department.- Participates with the HR team on projects involving the development of tools, policies, supports and processes for the introduction of innovative best practices to support critical change for a modern and flexible work environment.- Works in collaboration with colleagues across Human Resources on department priorities for FSRA and with Payroll on HRIS matters.


Qualifications:


Education and Experience- Degree/diploma in Human Resources or related field years' experience in human resources administration including the use, capabilities and administration of human resources information systems.


Knowledge and Skills- General knowledge of HR principles and practices, and processes and the use of HRIS systems (i.e., Workday) and the employee lifecycle.- Skilled in generating and analyzing reports to support the program and services of an evolving human resources department.- Skilled in providing expertise, advice and training on HRIS to colleagues and in supporting various human resources services and programs.- Attention to detail, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.- Proven customer service skills and a committed team player- Proficient in HR software (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
