About the Current Position:
Commissionaires South Saskatchewan is hiring an
Administrative Assistant who will support the Business Development Department in cultivating partnerships, identifying new markets and contributing to the growth of the company.
They are expected to provide excellent service and professional representation of our brand and product to all customers and Commissionaires.
The position is currently for 32 hours a week, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.Responsibilities:
- Support a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to help reach the recruitment, awareness and sales targets of the organization.
- Support the development of new contracts and renewal of existing ones that create employment opportunities for our guards.
- Support submissions to all requests for proposals (RFPs) on which the Division will be bidding.
- Support the development of new business opportunities that helps us diversify our service offering. This will include the development of business cases.
- Lead the execution of key marketing pieces including our Division's social media approach.
- Design and execute innovative and efficient ways to manage all contracts.
- Supporting and leading on timely event design and planning.
- Assuming other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous or ongoing degree in business administration, marketing, communications or related field OR a satisfactory combination of pertinent education and experience.
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills as well as excellent writing skills.
- Advanced communication (both verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
- Detailoriented and persuasive.
- Excellent time management.
- Clear criminal background check.
