WorkSafeNB has an immediate need to hire multiple casual full-time Administrative Support Clerks in our Benefit Payment Services and Claims Management departments.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday anywhere from 8:00-5:00 PM (35 hrs./week).

Reporting to the appropriate team Manager, you will be responsible to perform various duties that are related to the recovery and safe return to work for our clients.


Some of these responsibilities include:

  • Communicating both verbally and in writing with clients and stakeholders.
  • Reviewing, paying, and authorizing payment of claim related accounts and wage loss benefits to clients.
  • Authorizing client prescriptions.
  • Accessing and organizing prompt medical appointments.
  • Providing exceptional client service in supporting all aspects of recovery and return to work. These are challenging, multifaceted positions, that would be ideal for detailoriented individuals who are selfstarters and enjoy completing mathematical calculations. These opportunities are very suitable for individuals who can adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, and handle large volumes of work, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. If you possess the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply: - One-year post-secondary diploma/certificate, as a mínimal educational requirement.

- One year of relevant work experience such as experience with benefits & wage calculations, paying accounts (accounts receivable/accounts payable) or mathematical calculations.

- Strong ability to function within MS Office software, particularly MS Word and Excel.

- An equivalent combination of greater education, combined with less work experience may be considered (ex: a completed university degree with no work experience).
