Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the development of new precedents and update the firm's existing precedents, including participation in drafting and annotating model documents
Work closely with lawyers to identify and gather new knowledge resources, and maintain our existing collections of practice resources and research materials
Work with the firm's practice groups to explore and implement solutions to meet their specific KM needs
Respond to requests for KM resources using the firm's KM collections and enterprise search tool
Participate in the development of firm knowledge pertaining to new laws and legal developments, including authoring clientfacing publications
Leverage precedent and current awareness work to advise lawyers on legal issues
Prepare and deliver legal training to the firm's lawyers and law students related to knowledge products and solutions
Promote awareness and active usage of the firm's knowledge resources

Skills & Experience Required

A law degree with 25 years of client facing practice experience, ideally with a toptier transactional law firm
Strong academic credentials and ability to think strategically, demonstrating wellhoned analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely
A high level of comfort with law firm technology and a willingness to develop new technology proficiencies
Strong client service skills and a selfstarter who is highly organized, motivated and detailoriented; able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team
