OUT OF ANCASTER, ONTARIO**
TYPE OF POSITION:FULL TIME**The Camera and Scale Technician - Road Service is responsible for assembling, calibrating (programming), testing and inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial camera and mobile scale systems and related refuse addon equipment; positively interacting with customers by providing technical support, training on equipment use; travelling to and from customer locations; maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment; maintaining service vehicles, equipment and tools; completing job related documentation clearly and efficiently.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Electronic training required, previous exposure to 12volt electronics or a 310K certificate is an asset
- Valid 'G' class driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Must have previous experience working on heavy equipment or heavy trucks
- Must have working knowledge of industrial weighing systems and equipment and experience in the scale industry
- Must be able to easily move on or under heavy equipment or trucks and scales
- Experience working and interacting with customers/clients and promoting products considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a positive and professional manner with colleagues and customers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Selfmotivated, ability to plan and execute aspects of work independently
- Independent problem solver, resourceful and decision maker
- Organization and timemanagement works efficiently to manage and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated team player and willing to assist others when required
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot, perform repairs/installations, and maintain camera equipment and scale systems on heavy equipment such as Refuse Trucks
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
- Conduct repairs in a timely and effective manner, communicating effectively regarding job progress and job status changes with customers, Parts, and other Service Staff
- Customize systems based on customer requirements/requests
- Inspect and audit the systems before customer delivery
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation and working environment
- Completion of work orders in a timely manner and maintain productivity levels as determined by the organization
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and Occupational Health and Safety program
