The Department of Criminology at the University of Ottawa wishes to fill one (1) replacement professor position; the field of expertise in criminology is open.***
Duties

  • Teaching in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels (6 courses)
  • Participating in academic and administrative activities
  • Other activities as specified in the collective agreement

  • Demonstrate excellence or the potential for excellence in teaching and research

Bilingualism


The University of Ottawa is a bilingual institution, and all professors in the Faculty of Social Sciences must be actively bilingual (French and English).

Passive bilingualism is required at the time of hiring.


Terms and Salary


The three-year contract will begin on July 1, 2023 and end June 30, 2026 and is non-renewable.
Salary scale for assistant professors starts at $89,622 (for a full-time teaching workload).
