About this Opportunity:
Cenovus is hiring a Grain Purchasing/Scheduling Lead at the Lloydminster Ethanol facility.
The lead is responsible for scheduling, grain buying and identifying areas of optimization as well as leading and providing direction for the grain marketing group.
This position plays a key role for ensuring adequate feedstock to meet required plant production targets.Working Conditions:
This full-time office-based role is located at the Ethanol facility in Lloydminster, SK and relocation to Lloydminster or surrounding area is required.

Responsibilities:
- Scheduling activities:
- Schedule and call inbound grain deliveries-
- Maintain vendor relations, payments, request forms.-
- Manage daily/weekly and monthly inventories,-
- Generate and distribute required feedstock reports to operations and regulatory groups.-
- Tracking contracts/feedstock utilizing Feedstock scheduling tool (FST).-
- Grain buying activities:
- Work collaboratively with independent marketing and finance team, calculate and report on Grain/DDGS pricing-
- Complete and submit quarterly/yearly regulatory renewals (ie clean fuel regulations, feedstock data, Canadian Grains commission)-
- Support long range strategic planning processes-
- Manage day to day operations of the Grain Marketing group
- Provide support for team including coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Review and approve requisitions utilizing SAP
- Coordinate strategies and purchase plans with the production planner and operations
- Site liaison with multiple stakeholders such as grain vendors, marketing, operations, and management.
- Work collaboratively with production planners to coordinate feedstock requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada 6+ years' related experience.
- Scheduling and logistics experience.
- Knowledge of grain marketing and farming industry would be an asset.
- Ability to adjust, manage and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, operational frontline work environment.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to set and exceed established goals, schedules and timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and facilitation skills.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
