Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a refrigeration Technician Apprentice. In this role, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of commercial refrigeration systems. You will assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems. Additionally, you will learn how to diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and ensure systems are operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
- Learn to trouble shoot and diagnose system issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils and replacing filters.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- HVAC/R certification or enrollment in a related program is considered an asset.
