The MHI student will be involved with various Operational Readiness / Redevelopment projects across all sites of Unity Health Toronto.
This may include developing post occupancy evaluation survey tools, working on the Central Real Time Locating System (RTLS) Staff Duress project at St.
Joseph's, implementing ASCOM Nurse Call across the organization, and contributing to transitional activities for redevelopment projects.Scope of Work
- Workflow analysis: future state analysis, future state process mapping
- Stakeholder engagement: meetings with clinical staff and other stakeholders
- Testing, training and orientation for systems implementation (i.e. Nurse Call, RTLS)
- Project Evaluation
- Real Time Locating System
- Staff Duress
- Ascom Nurse Call
- Transitional Activities for Redevelopment Projects
- Post occupancy evaluation survey tools development: ED, Periop
- New perspective for existing or new projects
- Additional support for workflow analysis, testing, training and orientation for redevelopment projects
- Process mapping
- Project planning and organization skills
- Analytical, organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
- Clinical Experience preferred
- Computer literacy in Windows environment using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Familiarly with the patient care process from a holistic systems perspective complemented by experience / strong interest in transformation initiatives
- Travel between sites may be required
